The United Nations is about gathering together different cultures, political systems, and peoples, and giving them the opportunity to try and make the world a better place for our future generations. The Model United Nations exists for the same reason. All across the United States, and throughout the world, young people gather together every year to simulate the various bodies within the United Nations system, as well as other international governmental organizations. Students come together to learn from one another and to teach one another.
At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a melting pot of diversity and culture, we strive to give our future leaders an understanding of the problems our world faces, and how to best deal with those problems. ERAU MUN is a proud part of the Model UN program in the United States.

Unlike many other organizations on campus, ERAU MUN is not dependent on your degree program. Whether you are studying Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Studies, or Business, you will benefit from the MUN experience. Educational benefits include research, writing, public speaking, problem solving, consensus building, conflict resolution, compromise, and cooperation, but the REAL and longterm benefits of MUN are the friendships and experiences gained from our unique organization.
